What You Can Expect from the 2020 Cadillac CT5

With the CTS ending its run this year, Cadillac has unveiled its replacement — the 2020 Cadillac CT5. This new vehicle breathes new life into the sedan market with its power capabilities, sporty design, and innovative technology.

Expect this sedan to debut this fall in three trim levels: Luxury, Premium Luxury and the Sport.

Performance for the fast lane.

The 2020 Cadillac CT5 will come with two engine options to add efficiency to your commute on the roadways. It 2.0-liter twin-scroll turbo engine delivers 237 horsepower. You will get more muscle with the 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, which cranks out 335 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque.

Both engines will come with a standard 10-speed automatic transmission with available all-wheel drive.

Looks that turn heads.

One noticeable feature on the exterior is its slope from the roof to the back of the car. This fastback design — along with its wide stance — highlights an artistic approach to the modern-day sedan. Its earlier Luxury and Premium Luxury trim levels feature the expressive accents that other Cadillac models exhibit. When you choose the Sport trim model, you get an athletic car that shows off a spoiler, wheels, a black mesh grille, and rocker extensions.

A cabin that is your sanctuary.

Its interior strives to be segment-leading, thanks to its comfortable backseat area with more foot room and easy entry. However, the driver remains the focus for Cadillac, as it equips its 2020 CT5 sedan with heated and ventilated front seats that utilize massage functionality, 18-way adjustable front seats, a 10-inch infotainment screen, an 8-inch driver information center display, and alloy pedals. Its center console will include a rotary controller which allows you to control the infotainment system.
