Cadillac has been hard at work developing and designing new vehicles for its V-series performance lineup. These new Cadillac performance sedans, the 2020 CT4-V and CT5-V, follow hot on the heels of the 2019 Cadillac CT6-V.
The 2020 Cadillac CT4-V is based on the brand-new Cadillac CT4, a compact sedan that’s also making its way to the market soon. The V-series model features a 320-horsepower turbocharged engine, a rear spoiler, and 18-inch summer tires. Also, it’s designed to have a nearly 50/50 weight distribution.
The CT5 sedan was also recently revealed, and the 2020 Cadillac CT5-V builds off its sibling in the same way. It sports 19-inch wheels with performance tires and a standard twin-turbo high-output V6, which all come together to offer an even more thrilling performance. The V6 is rated at 355 horsepower.
Both models come with plenty of features: the choice between rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, a V-series performance chassis, Brembo brakes, V-Mode steering, and Magnetic Ride Control 4.0. Both sedans’ engines come with a 10-speed automatic transmission. You can also opt for available features such as the Super Cruise hands-free driving technology.
Arriving in early 2020, the new Cadillac performance sedans are hardly the last to make their way to the V-Series lineup. GM President Mark Reuss hinted, “This is only the beginning of the V family.” Want to see the latest innovations from Cadillac? Come tour our inventory at Crest Cadillac.
