As we get closer and closer to its release date, more 2017 Cadillac CT-6 Hybrid details are being revealed more frequently. In fact, we have just learned that the model will operate with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, mated to two electric motors.
Cadillac also announced that the new hybrid will get up to 449 horsepower – making it remarkably powerful – and that is should be able to go from zero to 62 miles per hour as quickly as in 5.6 seconds.
Additionally, the Cadillac CT-6 will have an electric-only range of 37 miles, which is more than enough for the average American to drive to or from work.
The new CT-6 will borrow many of its components from the popular Chevy Volt, another fuel-efficient model produced by GM. Between their various sub-brands, GM has a long list of models that operate under a great fuel economy – but few are as luxurious as the new CT-6 hybrid.
