The reveal of the all-new 2014 Cadillac ELR has been long-awaited for those of us at Crest Cadillac, and we couldn’t have been more pleased when it was finally unveiled at the 2013 North American International Auto Show.
The ELR is sleek, muscular, and luxurious. Equipped with 20” wheels, active grille shutters, and LED lights all around, the ELR is designed for power, efficiency, and beauty. Inside, the luxury continues with a hand-wrapped cut-and-sewn interior that features a plethora of authentic materials like semi-aniline leather for the seats. The cabin is also equipped with the latest in Cadillac connected technology—the CUE.
Striving for pure efficiency, the designers of the ELR generated a range of 300 miles for extended driving; typical short drives (like the daily commute) will be emissions-free for most drivers. The ELR switches seamlessly between the engine and the electric motor, which offers 295 pound-feet of torque. The luxury coupe is an incredibly engaging driving experience, offering four selectable drive modes, including a sport mode for more active drivers.
The ELR will be arriving at Crest Cadillac in the summer of 2014. Until then, you can visit us online at http://www.crestmotors.com/ to find out more!
