Roll up to the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in style with Cadillac and Uber. No, “über” is not just a trendy superlative used by middle school-aged girls; and yes, those two companies collaborate nicely together. This year, Cadillac has partnered with Uber to provide NAIAS attendees with free 15-minute rides through Detroit’s Downtown, Corktown, and Midtown areas.
“Cadillac’s partnership with Uber gives auto show attendees the opportunity to experience a new Cadillac vehicle,” said Melody Lee, Global Cadillac’s brand and reputation strategy director. “Both Cadillac and Uber are known for remaking the rules when it comes to technology and service.”
Through a smartphone app, Uber provides users with convenient access to a private driver in cities around the world. Thanks to Cadillac, they’ll be able to catch a ride in the 2014 Escalade or SRX during various times this week.
We at Crest Cadillac think free rides in the 2014 Escalade and SRX are an “über” cool service, especially with all the power being at your fingertips on your smartphone. Wouldn’t you agree?
