Cadillac is expected to reveal a hybrid CT6 sedan later this month at the Shanghai Motor Show, following confirmation of its existence last fall.
When asked by Autoblog about an update, General Motors product chief Mark Reuss gave a pretty big hint it would arrive later at the world’s most populated city.
“We’ve really got to wait until we finish rounding out the portfolio,” he explained. Furthermore he said, “The Shanghai show is where you should look for all of it. So stay tuned.”
A hybrid version of the CT6 would likely be joining several other variants of the luxury sedan. Two V6 engines have already been announced and there’s reason to believe we’ll get even more powertrain options, thanks to the flexibility of the new CT6 architecture, as well as a possible performance model with a V-Series badge.
We’ll have to wait until Shanghai, but Crest Cadillac is extremely impatient to see what the automaker is up to!
