When it comes to offering superior luxury, the Cadillac brand seems to have a global appeal. The American premium carmaker recently posted its fifth month in a row of double-digit increases for Cadillac’s global sales. October also marked the fourth consecutive month of sales increases that topped 20%, thanks to its impressive sales increase of 21.2%.
“Cadillac’s product substance is driving consistent growth, not only in sales volume but also in terms of brand prestige,” said Cadillac President Johan de Nysschen. “The new products launched this year continue to gain momentum as we elevate all aspects of our business to a more premium position globally.”
One of the newest products from Cadillac is the new XT5 luxury crossover, which is currently the brand’s top-selling model. In October, it sold a total of 10,282 units, which is the highest sales number it has seen since its launch earlier this year. This astronomical sales number, plus the impressive global sales of the ATS Sport sedan and coupe, which saw a 9.8% increase globally, all helped Cadillac global October sales see its double-digit increase.
The XTS sedan also saw an impressive increase of 29.5% in sales year-over-year. Overall, Cadillac saw the largest increase in sales in its Chinese market, which had a jaw-dropping 117.2% increase compared to October of last year.
