The 2016 Cadillac CTS V-Sport has been named one of Car and Driver’s 2016 10Best cars. The CTS has received the magazine’s highest accolade every year since the 2014 model-year redesign. This also marks the 8th year a CTS is featured on the list, including 2008-2012 and 2014-2016.
Car and Driver had many good things to say about the CTS V-Sport, citing that it is the sports sedan that “finally put GM on par with its German rivals” and pointing out the obvious benefits in involving professional racers in the development (John Buttermore, the lead development engineer, is also a two-time SCCA National champion).
“The Vsport chassis speaks to drivers as if they’re all weekend warriors, but without forgoing the balance between handling and ride, which in this case is among the best on the road today,” said K.C. Colwell, editor at Car and Driver.
So there you have it—one to rival the famed German sports sedans. We’re certainly proud to show it off at Crest Cadillac!
