The 2017 Cadillac XT5 crossover was honored in the 2016 Wards 10 Best Interiors list by WardsAuto, showing right from the get-go that this all-new model is not a dud.
The XT5 crossover, which replaces the outgoing SRX, is already getting plenty of attention for its beautifully designed interior. Understandably, after sending eight editors to evaluate 47 new vehicle interiors for the 2017 model year, WardsAuto had nothing but great things to say about it.
The editors lauded the XT5’s “first-rate materials,” including supple semi-Aniline Maple Sugar leather, satin-finish Rosewood trim, rich metallic brightwork, and velvety microsuede headliner, pillar trim, and instrument panel.
It also noted the crossover’s excellent and almost surprising ergonomic comfort, despite the fact that the XT5’s numerous technology features might be expected to damage its convenience. Then again, it wouldn’t be a Cadillac if it weren’t able to seamlessly blend comfort, luxury, and technology, now would it?
